Privacy statement
We respect your privacy. This statement explains which personal data we receive through this website and what we do with it.
Who we are
Sartex N.V., Industrielaan 36, B-8520 Kuurne, Belgium · Company/VAT number BE 0417.075.749 · Tel +32 56 354486 · E-mail us. Sartex N.V. is responsible for the processing of your personal data.
Which data and why
When you request free samples or an offer, the website prepares an e-mail in your own e-mail program. When you send it, we receive the data you filled in: company name, contact person, e-mail address and, if you add them, country, delivery address, phone number, quantities and remarks. We use these data only to send you samples, to make you an offer, to handle your order and to contact you about it. The legal basis is the preparation and performance of a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business requests.
Sharing
We do not sell your data and we do not share them with third parties, except when this is needed to deliver your samples or goods (for example a courier or transport company) or when the law requires it.
How long
We keep your data as long as needed for our business relationship and for the periods required by law (for example accounting rules).
Cookies and storage in your browser
- This website does not use cookies, statistics, advertising or social media trackers.
- The articles you select for a sample request are kept in your browser (local storage), so your selection is not lost while you browse. They are not sent to us until you send the e-mail.
- Your contact details are only remembered in your browser if you tick "Remember my contact details on this device". Untick the box and send a request, or clear your browser data, to remove them.
- The map on our contact page is a picture (map data © OpenStreetMap contributors). Google Maps only opens when you click "Open in Google Maps"; Google's own privacy policy then applies.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your personal data, to limit or object to their use, or to receive them. Contact us by e-mail or phone. If you think we do not handle your data correctly, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
